Hi there! I’m JC Corres, the founder of Major Survivor. That’s me in the pic above waiting in line for a chicken and rice bowl in New York City. I write for the blog here on Major Survivor.
If you’re a college student looking for college tips, ways to save money, and ways to pay off your student loans faster, then you’re in the right place!
Major Survivor is an educational resource aimed to help students and graduates overcome the struggles of college. You’ll learn how to:
The sheet covers various websites I have been utilizing to make money online ever since I was a freshman in high school. I’ve been going to school for over 18 straight years now. With school and family taking the majority of my time, I never fancied the thought of having to drive to go to work. I wanted to focus on my studies and focus on spending time with my family and friends while still being able to make money.
Find Me On YouTube
In my freshman year of high school, I had this brilliant idea of printing out a client’s logo and taping it to the community gate . Using my iPhone, I filmed a walk-style point of view from my house to the gate with the ending zooming in on the client’s logo (keep in mind that it was garbage day at this time, so there were trash cans everywhere).
This was my first paid gig ever. I received $5 with a 1 star review, but was forever fascinated by the world of filming and video editing and since then, it has become one of my strongest passions.
I wanted to create a YouTube channel that would focus mainly on my journey to becoming student debt free. If I could pay off my student loans, so could you. I want to help others tackle their struggle of repaying enormous student loans amounts.
Here is my intro video:

My Challenge To You
Without the willpower to take action, you become stagnant in progression.
One of the underlying predecessors of true success lies in the execution or ability to action. Given a choice between a great idea and limited execution and a mediocre idea with a brilliant execution, I would definitely choose the second of the two.
I challenge you to take action on something that’s been lingering on your mind. Whether it be making the first payment on your student loans, making your own lunch for an entire week, or starting on that end of the semester project just to get it out of the way early.
This should be a good start on getting a feel of what it’s like to Major in Survivor. If you have any questions or just want to talk, feel free to contact me.
